    Tally-Ho!: Yankee in a Spitfire, first published in 1941, is the exciting account of author Arthur Donahue's service in the R.A.F in 1940-41, flying the legendary Spitfire aircraft in the fight to save Great Britain. An American civilian pilot, he traveled to Canada in order to volunteer with the R.A.F., and underwent fighter-pilot training after arriving in England. Donahue was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in March 1942, and became the first American to command an all-English Squadron. Sadly, after reaching the rank of Flight Lieutenant, Donahue was killed in action in September 1942, at the age of 29. Included are 8 pages of photographs.
