Very good clean tight sound square, no bookplate, inscription or marks of any kind, formly held in joints and hinges, clean crisp corneres and edges. Beautifully bound in bright gilt lettered ruled tooled and illustrated full racing green calf leather, featuring triple gilt ruling and corner stamp to boards, upper board gently splash stained not detracting. Great shelf presence with 5 gilt ruled raised bands, 4 elablorate gilt scrolled floral embossing and 2 gilt titled leather labels to spine. All edges vey bright gilt, intricate floral bright inner gilt dentells. A lovely volume in great condition, and a wonderful addition to the library of reader, scholar and collector alike.
