    Hardcover (H. M. Caldwell, March 15, 1898)
I can not find the copyright or edition dates on this book. It is the pic with the red cover with gold working with the flowery design around it (rectangle arrangement at top of cover). There are cursive "B"s indented onto cover and spine. Says "Illustrated" on the spine but I only see a few black line drawings. I would say acceptable condition. There is handwriting, "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Lucille Picht from Mildred xmas'17) I assume 1917 because of aging. From the outside the book looks tight but inside the cover/pages are separating (a few pages are detached). M. M. Caldwell Co. Publishers New York - Boston.
