    William Shakespeare

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Sept. 10, 2014)
William Shakespeare is widely considered the greatest writer in the history of the English language, so renowned and respected that the time period in which he lived is often known as the Age of Shakespeare. Indeed, his genius is questioned only by those who doubt the authenticity of his authorship of timeless classics like Romeo and Juliet. As Ben Jonson once put it, "He was not of an age, but for all time.” No other writer, in English or in any other language, can rival the appeal that Shakespeare has enjoyed around the world, and nobody’s had a bigger influence.

Although listed as a tragedy in the First Folio, modern critics often classify Cymbeline as a romance or even a comedy. Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, April 27, 2018)
The secret marriage of a king's daughter sets off a chain reaction of slander, jealousy, and divine intervention in this fairy tale-like romance. Shakespeare based his play on myths of an early Celtic king of Britain, incorporating historical elements from classical Rome and Renaissance Italy. With a cast that includes an evil stepmother, scheming suitor, and devoted lovers, the drama is heightened by duels, kidnappings, and disguised identities.

    William Shakespeare

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Sept. 23, 2014)
No scenes in Shakespeare's plays are as intimately homoerotic as the scenes in Cymbeline in which the two brothers fall in love with the main character, who would have been a male actor playing the part of a girl disguised as a boy. It is while the brothers think the person is a boy that they fall in love with... him. Cymbeline also contains one of the best songs in all of Shakespeare. It begins: "Fear no more the heat o' the sun, / Nor the furious winter's rages; / Thou thy worldly task hast done, / Home art gone, and ta'en thy wages; / Golden lads and girls all must, / As chimney-sweepers, come to dust."
