    Queen Ann the Mother of Irish King Adam was born in a turbulent time. As her Father King Adam fought in desperation to save his Kingdom he fell in battle as Ann was born. The opposing brutal army wanting no legitimate heirs to the former Kingdom search for the Princess. In her darkest hour as the door to Queen Natalie's room is being battered down she gives her baby to a young girl; Ruth who is twelve to hide the baby until she can return the Princess safely back to her. Ruth runs with the Princess through the war torn city into the countryside avoiding the brutal army who searches for them. She fears the army and the heartless leader Legos who is commanded by King Benidict to find the child. Legos searches relentlessly for the child terrorizing all of the kingdom and offering a large sum of gold for her capture. Ruth will protect the child remembering the promise to return the child Princess when it is safe. She will find help from Nathan a sheapard, people of the neighboring kingdom. The journey to safety is dangerous for two young women without an escort of men. Threatend by the superstitious and ignorant villagers she finds help with robbers, fishermen, and Gypsies. Through it all Ruth reminds Ann who she is a Princess who will return to her thrown with the Grace of God who they trust, and her promise to her Queen Natalie will be kept no matter the cost.
