    Francesca Ferri

    Rag Book (B.E.S. Publishing, May 1, 2004)
This unusual title might we be the most elaborate toddler's "cloth book" ever to appear on the market. Though constructed of sturdy padded cloth, it's a three-dimensional boxed-shaped barn. The front wall comes free from Velcro tabs, then unfolds to reveal the barn's interior, which is crammed with stuffed cloth animals. Kids will find a pig, chicken, duck, horse, cow, sheep, and goat. They'll also find a bright red stuffed cloth tractor that measures 4" x 5". A pocket on one of the barn's side walls contains a tiny cloth book (12 pages incl. cover; 3 1/2" x 3 1/2") with a farm animal pictured on every page. A flap on the barn's red roof lifts to reveal the a hayloft, and a suitcase-style handle on the roof's peak makes the barn easy for kids to carry around. (Ages 1-4)
