In the story "I want to go home", the main character has to spend the weekend with her mother for the first time, his parents being separated. Mila wants to be with her mother but she also has fears. Many things go wrong and the daughter does not feel well at her mother's and asks her to go back to her father's house but the mother begs her to stay and apologizes for her mistakes.A book on the fears and difficulties children face when their fathers separate and they have to adapt to the new situation in a complicated way. The perspective is completely that of the protagonist girl.Julio Millares won the Vargas Llosa Prize for novels and the Imaginaria Prize for children's stories. He lived in Brazil, Italy, France, Mexico and Sweden before returning to his native Argentina. He is a professor at the Faculty of Arts of the National University of Cuyo.
