Books in The Girls Of Houston series

Tonight at around 5:30 pm, my best friends a some of our close friends will be coming to my family’s and my mansion for a fun-filled co-ed welcome sleepover party. Not only will there be good food, dancing, pool time, etc, but there will also be a good time had by all. I look forward to this party each year because I get to finally see my best friends and friends that I haven’t seen for awhile. With this said, I am so looking forward to tonight!

Tomorrow, Kalani, her boyfriend, Kevin, and his parents, Kimberly and Kent(Kevin and Kalani’s managers and bodyguards) would be leaving for their summer tour. With this said, today would consist of Kalani finishing packing, getting her hair done a massage, facial, and her nails and toes done, too, and getting ready to leave tomorrow. Last Friday, Kalani had asked her longtime good friend, Allie, if she would like to go to breakfast and get pampered with her. Immediately, Allie had agreed.“So, where should we go for breakfast?”Allie asked.“Our usual?” Kalani smiled.“Sounds good to me.” Allie smiled back.Moments later, the girls were exiting on the exit that would lead them to Chick Fil-A.

A few weeks ago, my best friend, Katie, Steven, and I had come up with an awesome plan.It consisted of flying down to Houston on Thursday and for the weekend, and going back to Los Angeles on Sunday after church, as well as surprising Phillip at Katie’s, Steven’s, and his high school’s masquerade homecoming dance. In fact, the plan to surprise Phillip at the homecoming dance was the main reason that I would be flying down to Houston in the first place. After talking with my aunt, uncle, and parents about this, they were on board. Three weeks later, the plan was taking place.

Katie Roundhouse was a cadet in the United States Army. Most importantly, she was Kalani’s older sister. Eighteen months ago, Katie had been deployed to Iraq. The sisters had not seen each other since. Tonight, however, that was about to change. With the help of Kevin, Kimberly, and Kent, Katie was going to surprise her sister at the concert tonight. This wonderful surprise was one that Kalani would not see coming. This is exactly how Kent, Kevin, and Kimberly wanted it to be.

After an amazing summer in Houston, the time has come for Keely to return back to L.A., and say goodbye to her parents, best friends, and boyfriend. Before saying goodbye, however, Keely and these wonderful individuals, including her awesome aunt and uncle, will be attending the annual Teens Of Today Awards in L.A. (Keely's parents, boyfriend, and best friends will be her special guests). Due to the fact that Keely will be performing and is up for two awards, she is so excited that the people that she loves will be there to support her! With this said, this special afternoon will be a special one for Keely and everyone else!

Even though I was excited about my new journey, moving to L.A. meant that I would not be able to see my parents, best friends, and friends as often as I would like. Even though I have a made a plethora of good friends here in L.A. and enjoyed living with my loving and wonderful Aunt and Uncle during the school year and filming of my show (The final season of the show will be filmed and aired this coming year), it wasn’t the same as living with my loving and wonderful parents, and being with my best friends and friends back home.With this said, a plan and agreement between my aunt, uncle, parents, and me had been unfolded to where I could see my parents, best friends, and friends some. The plan was that I would fly back to Houston for Thanks-giving, Christmas, and summer break. For the past few years, the plan has worked out extremely well. As Kelly, Kit, and I pulled into a parking spot at LAX, I could not help but feel excited. I was about to be back home with my parents, best friends, and friends!

Tonight is Anamar’s junior/senior prom, and everything is ready and set for tonight. I have the dress (A black, Bella one shouldered mermaid gown with shimmer-ing sequins), the jewelry (dainty, silver, dangly earrings), the date (My best friend, Ian), and the limo (My best friends and I will be riding to and from Prom together). Truth be told, I have a feeling that tonight is going to be magical!

“What are you and Marcus doing tonight to celebrate Valentine’s Day?” I asked, as CeCe and I got changed and ready for dance practice.“Marcus said that he was going to surprise me, so I honestly don’t know.” CeCe replied. “What about you, girl? What are your plans for the day of love?”“My parents are going out to dinner, but I’m staying home and watching a movie.”“That doesn’t sound like fun.” CeCe said thought-fully. “Besides, you shouldn’t be alone on Valentine’s Day.”“I’m okay with it, I promise.”I said, giving my best friend a small smile.This was true. I was okay with being by myself on Valentine’s Day. Even though it was not my ideal choice, I was okay. Moving on, my ideal Valentine’s Day would be going out to dinner with my best friend, Reid. However, on account that Reid and I are not speaking at the moment right now, that is not possible.
