AFRICAN ADVENTURE: While on safari in African big-game country, Hal and Roger Hunt are sent to help a village attacked by a vicious man-eating leopard. After their father is injured, the boys are left alone to track down the monster. It’s not just the people that are over-sized – this part of Africa is full of natural giants: massive trees, hummingbirds the size of pigeons and forty feet tall heather. When the Watussi chief’s son is kidnapped and a baby elephant stolen, attention turns to the blackbirders, a group of slave traders from the Middle East. After a rare and beautiful white elephant crosses the boys’ path, the blackbirders decide it’s time to remove the boys from the equation...
