    This workbook accompanies a textbook which covers all the topics included in the Primary Mathematics syllabus for the Caribbean countries and is designed to prepare pupils for the Common Entrance Examination. It is also suitable for less able pupils who are in the early stages of the secondary-school course. Each of the 25 papers and 2 test papers in the workbook consists of 50 questions, and each test consists of 100 questions. Each paper contains a variety of problems based on topics from the textbook and they are graded with approximately the same degree of difficulty. It is intended that two papers, followed by corrections, should be done each week and that the two test papers should be done at a suitable time just leading up to the Common Entrance Examination. However, the workbook should be used only after the pupils have completed most of the new topics from the textbook, a convenient time being at the beginning of the second term. Also available is a separate volume of teacher'
