  • Corie Universe Feeder

    Walter Eckland

    eBook (, May 20, 2011)
What’s not to love about digging and mud? Corie: tall, thin, scruffy, female, student, blondish, smart, creative, outspoken, trouble-finding, precocious (whatever THAT means), eager, mature, silly, immature, messy-roomed, imaginative, animal-loving girl …… ……. has actual PERMISSION FROM HER FATHER to dig a hole in the front yard of her house. As an added bonus she can use the water hose, wheelbarrow, shovel, spray paint, a sign and any and all neighborhood friends she wants. After this whole, hole digging event, lots of oddness ensues not just from the aforementioned father, but from her mother, a dog walker, the police chief, the newspaper guy and the scowling town librarian. Does any good come of this at all? Well, sit down, grab a free cheese sandwich and find out. Oh! One other thing. If you ABSOLUTELY do not like reading, then read this book. It is a tad nutty, nonsensical and sometimes barely even seems like a book.If you are a parent who has a child that appears to be un-fond of reading, well, then, bribe them to try this by telling them it’s about popcorn, pudding, and Popsicles. And pickles.
  • Choose Valentina

It has been three hundred years since the last Dragon Decade and things are sure hatching in their baths of blood. Toss some newly elected and selected friends in the pot, stir, shake, escape . . . and then we have an adventure on our hands!
  • Corie Castle Builder

    Walter Eckland

    language (, Nov. 1, 2011)
Corie continues her life of complete nonsense mixed with actually doing something worthwhile in this second book of the Corie Universe Feeder saga. My goodness! Things have become a saga now! Who would have thought that?Saga, epic, endeavor, enterprise, tale, adventure, chronicle or what not, did you say castle? Where’s the pickle the fish and the tree? Are they still around? Are they growing? Are they doing something? Are there dogs? Did anyone break anything? Will more people get fed? Yes a castle, yes the pickle-and-fish tree, yes more growing and yes some people are fed and yes someone broke an arm. Unfortunately the people are being fed fresh vegetables and not anything good and healthy like orange painted puffed up things that come in a bag and mess up your fingers. There is a slight snow problem followed by a slight melting problem followed by a glass installation problem. Oh! There’s a bank problem too, but that was before it snowed.Wait! Don’t run away from all these problems. I think they all get resolved in the end. I also think it’s Corie who does the resolving. No cheese sandwiches were harmed in the writing of this book.[This is book two in a series and you will have NO IDEA what is going on if you start with this book. Go find book one please and thank you.]
