  • The Adventures of Shaun and Timothy: At the Beach

    K Ward-Edwards

Paperback (Find Me An English Tutor, Dec. 10, 2017)
Timothy is a lonely, little boy. He doesn't mind being alone, but he would like to have a friend. Today is Timothy's birthday, and his parents take him to the beach. He discovers Shaun. Shaun had been trapped in a bottle by an evil sorcerer two hundred years ago. He is lost and alone, and wants to go home. He invites Timothy to travel with him, and together they go on strange, exciting, dangerous and funny adventures in magical places as they try to find Shaun's homeland. During their adventures, Shaun and Timothy get to know each other and become great friends. This is the first in a series of adventure stories. They are aimed at learners of English, but are also suitable for native speakers learning to read. Each story gets progressively more challenging. All books have additional exercises to consolidate the reader's understanding of the story's vocabulary and improve grammatical knowledge. The books are written by an English language teacher with over thirteen years' experience.
