This wonderful little book details the experiences of the author on a number of bird watching excursions around parts of England and the Alps. 'A Year With Birds' is a great text written to help those who love birds, but know little about them, to realise something of the enjoyment which can be found in embracing bird watching as a hobby. A lovely book that will be of much interest to both the amateur and seasoned bird watcher alike, this antique text is well deserving of a place in any collection of ornithological literature.
