Popcorn 4: Teacher's Book
D. Webster
Paperback
(Pearson English Language Teaching, April 10, 1995)
"Popcorn" is a course for 6-12 year olds, encouraging them to be active learners. It engages and maintains their interest through lively stories, games, songs, rhymes, drama, projects and craft work - activities that are fun as well as educational. "Popcorn" reflects the varying interests and abilities of learners in the 6-12 age range. The course develops at the same pace as the learners who are using it, both in terms of language and conceptual ability. Levels 4, 5 and 6 (ages 9-12) take pupils into the realms of exploration and adventure. New language is presented through storylines which allow students to use their imagination and learn more about the world around them. Project work is encouraged with regular topic units. The Teacher's Books provide guidance and ready-made lesson plans, a breakdown of language, topics and skills covered at each level, plus ideas for additional ways to exploit the material provided. These can be photocopied and used at the end of each term.
