    Princess Priscilla is getting married but she sends away all the suitors that her father has invited to the castle to meet her. She finds something wrong with each and every one of them. Tired and frustrated with his daughter, one day King Alfred declares that the first suitable man to show up at the castle the next day would be given the Princess's hand in marriage. When the castle gates open in the morning a minstrel named Gilford from another kingdom is announced the winner. Princess Priscilla becomes his bride much to both of their dismay. Gilford takes Priscilla back to his kingdom where they struggle to get along mostly because they think the worse of each other. Gilford sees Priscilla as a spoiled princess use to getting her way while Priscilla sees Gilford as a bully unhappy with his life or just unhappy with her. All she really wants is for him to love her. But Gilford is keeping secrets from Priscilla. Secrets he is sure will make her hate him. Time is running out. Priscilla's brother is coming to get her. Will either of them be brave enough to tell the other one how they truly feel before Priscilla has to go back to her father's castle or will Priscilla be aloud to choose her happy ending after all.
