[Read by Humphrey Bower] The acclaimed bestselling classic of Holocaust literature, winner of the Booker Prize and the Los Angeles Times Book Award for Fiction, and the inspiration for the classic film -- ''a masterful account of the growth of the human soul'' (Los Angeles Times Book Review). A stunning novel based on the true story of how German war profiteer and factory director Oskar Schindler came to save more Jews from the gas chambers than any other single person during World War II. In this milestone of Holocaust literature, Thomas Keneally, author of Daughter of Mars, uses the actual testimony of the Schindlerjuden -- Schindler's Jews -- to brilliantly portray the courage and cunning of a good man in the midst of unspeakable evil.

  • Blast Point: The Blurred Intentions Series

    language (, June 13, 2016)
An American Youth delegation is targeted during their travels in Iraq, which exposes a scandalous betrayal among them leaving three students to fend for themselves. An interesting concept and brave to start with a death scene prologue written in first person. It reads like a ghost talking from the grave and not unlike the narration in Sunset Boulevard in that respect. I'll be back for more soon. Cheers, Best Selling Crime & Thriller author, Kerry J DonovanThis is a very good book. Great style and lay out, original, both story and set up...told with skill. This shows your competence as an author.Su Dan, a Kindle Reviewer

  • Animals That Changed the World

    Keltie Thomas

Paperback (Annick Press, Sept. 9, 2010)
How animals big and small have shaped today's world. From furry felines to hard-working horses, animals have had a tremendous impact on world history. For example, rats, through the diseases they carry, have probably killed more people than any war or natural disaster, goats may have been the first to discover coffee and, thanks to camels, people were able to survive for long periods in the desert and open up trade routes between Europe and Asia. However, animals can also be destructive. Mosquitoes spread deadly diseases -- and may even have killed Alexander the Great. Some animals have changed the environment by damaging whole ecosystems, creating deserts in their wake. Others, like the elephant, have been used as weapons of war. Among the more than 20 animals featured in this book are dogs, sheep, dolphins, silk moths and beavers, all of which have changed the course of history for better or for worse. Lighthearted and humorous, with intriguing photos

    Keltie Thomas

    Hardcover (Owlkids, April 19, 2006)
Author Keltie Thomas and illustrator Greg Hall team up to look at hockey in a new way: from the perspective of science. How Hockey Works includes personal stories from the inspirational (the stunning careers of Bobby Orr and Wayne Gretzky) to the hilarious (the puck’s origins as an India rubber ball reshaped by a frustrated rink owner). Informative sidebars, a “Rules and Regs” section, and a glossary help make any reader an expert on the game. From casual to obsessed every hockey fan can find something in How Hockey Works.
