  • All countries, capitals and flags of the world

    Thomas Light

Paperback (Independently published, Sept. 4, 2018)
This is a complete and updated (last updated May 1, 2020) handbook of countries, capitals and flags of the world! This is a great learning resource! An ideal, useful and informative gift for children of any age! A perfect gift for travelers and geography lovers! Greetings, dear friends! My name is Thomas. I am a geography teacher. I have long noticed that children show the greatest interest in my lessons when we study different countries of the world and their flags. I remember when I was a child a small book with multi-coloured flags of different countries of the world fell into my hands. I was fascinated by various beautiful and colourful flags that belonged to many different countries, with the existence of which I wasn’t even familiar. Perhaps, it was that book that influenced my future destiny, because I devoted my life to geography)So, back to my lessons... Trying to make my lessons the most interesting, useful and memorable for the children, I decided to create a special, not large handbook that would contain all the most important geographical facts. I chose only the most essential facts and definite highlights from a huge variety of them! I systematized all the information that every person must know in order to consider himself erudite and to avoid silly and ridiculous mistakes. And, of course, I structured the information about all the countries of our planet! This information is presented in a logical form, separately for each continent, in an easy order to remember. And most importantly, I added what children love the most – the multi-coloured FLAGS of each country. I ordered a print of 10 copies only and handed the books out to the certain children in a class who showed the greatest efforts in studying my subject. It was just a gift that was supposed to encourage children to study geography better. But the children liked the book so much that I decided to start publishing my handbook since a huge number of parents began to ask for this book for their children. Now anyone can buy my handbook, and I am pleased to know that a huge number of children study the most important geographical facts from my handbook. I also gave my handbook as a birthday present to all the friends of mine, and they studied it with great pleasure as well. So this is a gift of general-purpose for any person, including you! That is because, for example, do you know how many countries are in Africa? What is the capital of Cambodia? What is the area of the Vatican? What is the flag of Uruguay? Do not worry, you will find the answers to these questions, as well as many captivating things in my handbook! Order your copy as soon as possible and you won’t regret it! Thank you for your custom! Sincerely yours, Thomas!

    Thomas Dwight

Paperback (Forgotten Books, May 9, 2017)
Excerpt from The Identification of the Human Skeleton, a Medico-Legal Study: To Which Was Awarded the Prize of the Massachusetts Medical Society for 1878IT occasionally happens that the result of a criminal trial, or of a law suit, may depend on the identification of a skeleton or of parts of it. Most frequently the body can be recognized, and very commonly articles of dress or of ornament found with it put its individuality beyond a reason able doubt. In the latter class of cases, however, it is sometimes thought desirable to prove that the bones them selves could or must have belonged to a person of the height, sex and age of the deceased.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. • A clinical atlas. Variations of the bones of the hands and feet

    Thomas Dwight

Paperback (Ulan Press, Aug. 31, 2012)
This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work. While some publishers have opted to apply OCR (optical character recognition) technology to the process, we believe this leads to sub-optimal results (frequent typographical errors, strange characters and confusing formatting) and does not adequately preserve the historical character of the original artifact. We believe this work is culturally important in its original archival form. While we strive to adequately clean and digitally enhance the original work, there are occasionally instances where imperfections such as blurred or missing pages, poor pictures or errant marks may have been introduced due to either the quality of the original work or the scanning process itself. Despite these occasional imperfections, we have brought it back into print as part of our ongoing global book preservation commitment, providing customers with access to the best possible historical reprints. We appreciate your understanding of these occasional imperfections, and sincerely hope you enjoy seeing the book in a format as close as possible to that intended by the original publisher.
