And, when the girl's teacher has everyone create their family tree for a school project, the girl is embarrassed and reluctant to let her classmates know about her family. That is, until she hears what family life is like for her peers. This is a wonderful story to share with children who may be dealing with similar circumstance and with children whose classmates and friends may be going through difficult times.
