  • How We Saw the World

    C.J. Taylor

Hardcover (Tundra Books, Aug. 12, 1993)
All peoples have their own stories of how the Earth was created, what separated the land from the seas, and how the many animals, fish, and other creatures came to have their particular characteristics. The native tribes of North America are no different: they too have stories about the “way things began.” A fascinating collection of tales that explain the origins of tornadoes, forest fires, butterflies, horses, Niagara Falls, why dogs are our best friends, and even a very funny story of why owls and rabbits look the way they do.

  • So Little & Less Fractured

    C.H. Taylor

    (, Feb. 18, 2016)
Jack Roberts is an average fifteen-year-old kid who wants to fall in love. He spends his nights with his two best friends, Albert and Gus, who will be graduating this year. They drive around in Albert’s car breaking into public parks after hours and stop for the occasional shoplifting trip at the local late-night department store. One night Albert and Gus get Jack drunk for the first time, and they drive to their favorite spot where they watch deer grazing in the dark, only to chase them all away like buffoons. Like any group of teenagers, Jack, Albert, and Gus talk about the typical stuff—girls, partying, the future, and sex. Jack can’t relate to all of their conversations because he’s a virgin, and is upset when Albert abandons him downtown one night to go cheat on his girlfriend with an older woman. The next day, although Jack doesn’t want to go out with Albert and Gus, he joins them when they pick him up to go party at Albert’s girlfriend’s trailer where they find beautiful girls galore. It’s too bad for Jack that he’s the most shy, awkward teenager of the bunch.

Paperback (Leopold Classic Library, Nov. 25, 2015)
About the Book Mathematics is the study of such problems as quantity, structure, space, and change. Mathematicians seek out and implement patterns to formulate new theories; they resolve the veracity of theories by applying mathematical proofs. When mathematical frameworks provide good replications of actual events, then mathematics can improve our predictions about natural phenomena. Using theoretical abstraction and logic, over thousands of years mathematics has developed from simple calculation and measurement, to the systematic study of the shapes and dynamics of physical objects. About us Leopold Classic Library has the goal of making available to readers the classic books that have been out of print for decades. While these books may have occasional imperfections, we consider that only hand checking of every page ensures readable content without poor picture quality, blurred or missing text etc. That's why we: republish only hand checked books; that are high quality; enabling readers to see classic books in original formats; that are unlikely to have missing or blurred pages. You can search "Leopold Classic Library" in categories of your interest to find other books in our extensive collection. Happy reading!
