DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?: CONFESSIONS OF YOUR IDENTITY

Paperback
(Independently published, Sept. 20, 2018)
My purpose for writing this confessions book is to inform, encourage, edify, comfort and inspire people from ages 10 and up. To show them the importance of experiencing a genuine relationship with God. To show that God is a good God and has our best interests at heart. This book is the first of two volumes, expressing our true identity as believers in accordance with the word of God. If anyone knows who we truly are, it is God Himself. I believe this book will stir you up in your heart to know God more intimately in your relationship with Him. It will shed some light on things you may be struggling with, like depression, anxiety, fear, doubt, worry, discouragement, feelings of inadequacy, and more. Whatever it is, God’s word is the answer. I used to think that having a relationship with God was limited to receiving Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. While God is sitting on His throne way up there in heaven, I am way down here living my life every day as a Christian and doing what I believe is right according to the word of God. Sounds good doesn’t it? But unfortunately, I found myself in that place and still did not know God. It felt to me like God was far away. But He lives in me and I have access to Him at all times, no matter where I am or what I am doing, He is always in me. Knowing who God is and understanding my true identity in Christ has changed my life immensely.Don’t settle for just doing what is expected of you as a believer in Christ. Allow God to show you how He wants to take your relationship with Him to deeper depths and higher heights, and experience Him in a way you never have before. He will reveal Himself to you. He will reveal you to you and then He will reveal the plans He has for you.In this book, each identity name starts with scripture passages. You can always go to the word of God to find out what He says about you and your life. A word of encouragement is given to build you up and comfort you concerning your true identity in Christ as a believer. Then I end it with a prayer/confession. This part is where you would confess or say out loud what God says about you in His word. Nothing is set in stone. You can always add to it if you like or whatever the Father puts on your heart. This is just a tool to stir a hunger in you for a deeper relationship with God. As you embrace God’s true identity for you, your life will change effortlessly. Blessings!
