  • Bullied from the Womb

    Susan Todd

language (Susan Todd, April 27, 2015)
Bully! The word is more prevalent today. But they have been around for years. It was easier for them to hide more readily years ago than they can today because of the increase in technology. But the sting and devastation never changes. A bully can come in all shapes and sizes, genders and walks of life. If you are silently dealing with a bully wishing that things could stop, I can tell you it’s possible. I was bullied from the womb for years by someone who should have loved me but instead wished me gone. What could this little girl have already done that was so wrong, deserving a lifetime of being unloved and bullied?A little girl who only wanted to share the wonder of a moment with the father, who she loved the most, but who treated her like his greatest disappointment. It still rings with sadness. This event, as so many, slid into my memories with a stealth-like sinister dart attached to it that one day would target my life.

(CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Nov. 28, 2014)
Sometimes we come into this world with choices already made for us. These choices might not be the very best for our lives but there is nothing we can do about it until we grow up and start taking over our own lives. My life was a mystery for many years. I knew something wasn't right but I had no idea what it was or how I’d come by the self-destructive nature that I lived with every day. It wasn't until I had a conversation with my mother after trying to take my life, that I came to understand where it all began. After living a life of rejection, self-hatred, and one failed suicide attempt, I learned the truth of where all these feelings came from. Realizing that the place it started for me was from the womb made me have to take a long hard look at the truth of the bases of my life. If you as the reader have struggled with bullying, self-hatred, depths of rejection or even suicide then this book might help open your eyes and help lead you out of a lifestyle you were never meant to live. “For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall much be required.”
