  • The Mouse House…In the Spirit of Christmas

    Suzy McGregor

Paperback (BookSurge Publishing, Nov. 14, 2008)
Hawaii's famous miniature "Mouse House," built by Hawaii's beloved fine artist, Martha Greenwell, took over 8 years to finish! For 20 years, at Christmas time, it was on display for the Queen's Hospital. It now lives at the Isaacs Art Center at Hawaii Preparatory Academy on The Big Island of Hawaii. The whimsical village features handmade wooden mouse characters in tiny settings that incorporate everything from an antique horseshoe barrel, sewing machine drawer and medicine tin to a horseshoe nail box, kerosene lantern and wooden Japanese bucket. All of the historic artifacts came from the attic and tool shed belonging to her in-laws of Palani Ranch. Using a jeweler's saw to craft miniature mice made of bass wood, Greenwell created, painted, collected and assembled a Christmas Village where mice are cooking, sewing, wreath making and candy making--all wrapped up in imaginative vignettes that combine her passion for collecting miniature furniture along with her expertise as a Christmas ornament maker.Author, Suzy McGregor, so loved getting to know the real Mouse House that she created this delightful Christmas Story that awakens the spirit in us to rejoice in the magic of Christmas. Tommy Mouse bring a dream into reality with the help of his friends!

Dixon said, “Today in 1974, we point missiles at each other as nations of military power in the world. Shortly after the turn of the century, food and water will be what determines a nation’s power!” She continued, “On one fourth of the land we use today in America, we will be able to produce enough abundant, healthy, organic crops to feed the whole world with this Little Black Box! It is my prayer that America will control this Little Black Box so I want all of you to look for it and support who ever has invented it.” Could Sonic Bloom and the “Little Black Box” be what Dixon had prophesied? Suzy thinks so! And so she created this magical book!

  • Abraham Lincoln: Why You? Why Me? Why Now?

    SuZy McGregor

Paperback (Lollipop Media Productions LP, Sept. 25, 2013)
If Abraham Lincoln walked into your classroom today...what would he say to you and your classmates? He states, "America is the only Country in all of civilization that has ever had or has a Birthday...so let's talk about why we celebrate my Birthday, why we celebrate your Birthday and why we celebrate America's Birthday."This book is hypothetical yet real information about Lincoln's youth. In studying Abraham Lincoln’s character and life, I read many of his most important speeches, then I read biographies of this humble, great man. As I wrote this book for you, I found his positive charisma or charm has truly had a profound influence upon America over the nearly 150 years since he was in office as President. So it is with a depth of love for who he was and for what he gave to us… one nation, undivided…America, that I share this book with you. May it be educational and bring new thoughts of how great America truly is.
