What could Ms. Confetti be so worried about? This quirky story reminds kids that everyone has fears about the first day of school, including teachers.

This short story is based on a true event that happened in my kindergarten classroom. I submitted it to Chicken Soup for the Soul, and then later decided to publish it myself. It is a reminder that none of us is born with prejudices about others.
