Trial versions can be downloaded off-line for many software options, however note they have a 30 day expiration and your project will not be able to be opened without the software. If you are on a budget, it is possible to download the trial software, make your project then save it in PDF. A PDF is always available to open at a later time. Again, the only problem is you will not have options to change the original file because PDF files are frozen.
