A Near Fine copy, with tiny rub marks at the corners. Black cloth is bright, clean, white lettering is not rubbed. Dj has a 1cm chip near the base of the spine ,tiny frays at the head of the spine & small chips to the corners of the rear panel .A Nice copy in an average dj.

Arms and the Man was one of Shaw's first commercial successes. He was called onto stage after the curtain, where he received enthusiastic applause. Amidst the cheers, one audience member booed. Shaw replied, in characteristic fashion, "My dear fellow, I quite agree with you, but what are we two against so many?"
