Myah’s Breakfast SurpriseThis story is the first of a series. It’s about a little girl name Myah, who is almost three. She’s discovering her independence for the first time. She wakes up earlier than usual. She decides to do everything all by herself. Since her mom was still sleeping, she also decides to surprise her mommy with a nice breakfast. Things didn’t turn out as well as Mayah believes. After her mom gets over the initial shock of the mess, her mom realizes all the effort her little girl put into preparing this breakfast. She commends her little girl for taking the initiative as well as the time and effort spent on such a wonderful surprise.The Dirty Little BoyThis story is about a little boy who refuses to take a bath. He refused to get wet at all or change his favorite clothing, which he was wearing. Now the clothing he wore was mad about the way they looked and smelled. So they took matters into their own hands. They made a plan to get clean on their own. Things turned out better than they have hoped. The boy was surprised by everything that happened. But after he was clean, he realized that it was nice to smell good and wear clean clothing. He promised to be a good boy and never make his clothing mad again.

I wrote this book based on my experiences with my new English Pointer named Bella. We purchased her from a breeder and this was her first home. Bella had to meet several new cats, three other pointer dogs, and the horses and critters on the farm At first she did not respond to her name. She was confused and very nervous. The message I would like children to know is when they get anew pet, they need to be patient, kind and gentle. It will take time for the pet to adjust to its new surroundings. A lawsuit filed in 1846 by Dred Scott, an African-American slave, to gain freedom for himself and his family became a landmark legal case in U.S. history. Scott’s argument that he became free when his owner took him to a free state did not prevail. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that he was still a slave, he was not a U.S. citizen, and so he could not sue in federal court. The decision angered many Americans and pushed the country toward civil war.
