A NARRATIVE POEM ABOUT THE BIRTH OF CHRIST FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF A COWBOY. About the Author Susan Miller (Mynar) was born July 31, 1967 and grew up on a farm near the small town of West, Texas along with her seven brothers and sisters. Always a tomboy, she loved being outside, in the barn, or showing animals through the FFA and 4-H. She married James Miller at the age of sixteen, and together they have three children, one stepdaughter, nine grandsons and one granddaughter. Times were not always good, but her belief in God gave her the strength to endure. Susan and her sister owned a childcare center for thirty years and always felt blessed spending time with so many children. Susan has always had a passion for the western way of life and writes country music, poems and loves any outdoor activity that includes family and friends. She is a member of St. Martins Church in Tours, Texas where whe wrote this poem.
