During her time in high school and college, Sarah Dooley wrote and illustrated Wilfred and Harolds Dinner Party Disaster. This is a story about a young British boy, named Wilfred Muir, and his pet frog, Harold. Wilfred came from a well-to-do home, but fell into trouble because of his over-curious, warty frog. The chaotic venture all began when Wilfreds parents, Mr. and Mrs. Muir, decided to have a fancy dinner, which was served by their favorite butler, George. Among their dinner guests was Wilfreds grandmother, Mrs. Fletcher, a cranky old woman in a long purple dress. The moment she walked through the door, Wilfred knew the evening had taken a wrong turn. That night, Harold the frog brought a much un-needed frenzy to the Muirs rich household. In the end, Wilfred and Harold learned much about the importance of their friendship and forgiveness.
