    Cambridge Reading is a major scheme providing stimulating books and support materials for the teaching of reading and the development of literacy throughout the elementary years. The Weather Forecast is in a series of six titles in the Sight Vocabulary: Non-Fiction strand of the Beginning to Read Stage B. This strand provides a comprehensive resource for teaching the 45 high-frequency words - each word appears at least three times in one of the books. There are 20 new BTR sight vocabulary non-fiction titles (8 titles at stage A and 6 at B and C), covering different text types. These new titles will introduce children to the non-fiction genre and will use mainly photographs to make the books real and relevant to children's own experiences
