    Mark Samuel

language (Mark Samuel, Aug. 9, 2013)
The year is 2013 - the real diamond anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's accession to the throne. Charlotte Symes is a (reasonably) ordinary girl minding her own business and battling with a difficult older brother when she is invited to try out for membership of a highly secret spying organisation. Whilst undergoing training Charlotte and her fellow student stumble upon a treasonous plot. A plot that has been planned down through the centuries to undo a great injustice and to make right the wrong that was done. Charlotte Symes and her excitable and slightly dim friend, Drake, slowly uncover the plan to remove the Queen and install the true heir to the throne and learn who is involved in the perfidious plan. Opposed on all sides but determined to battle on, Charlotte and Drake battle the forces of the usurper finding unlikely allies as they go. Strange gadgets and gun battles. Big bangs and car chases unfold before your very eyes. Jewels are stolen and people die hideously. Cake and pizza is eaten as Charlotte and Drake fight to prevent the end of the Windsor dynasty. Can they preserve Her Majesty and defeat the forces of the one who would be King and his French allies. Read on and find out!
