The subject of Spiritual Unity is somewhat hard to describe in the abstract and can be presented in thousands of words. However, Angels as spiritual beings are common to most religions and cultures. Hopefully by presenting to children the idea in terms of Angels this little BOOKLET makes the concept clear and condensed.

Excerpt from The Wild White Woods: Or a Winter Camp on the Canada LineThis harangue certainly was not encouraging, and for a moment we were nonplussed. How ever, Worth soon found his voice, and said It's a matter of necessity almost, Mr. Worden. My friend here has got to find work to do, and for that matter, so have I. It's bad enough being the most unpopular girl in school, but when a strange new exchange student shows up, Samantha Abraham discovers she may be in love with a golem. It was love at first sight for Sam when Joshua, the dark and mysterious foreign student from Eastern Europe, walked in to class. He’s dreamy, great at hockey, and she’s landed the chance to be his tutor. But the more time she spends with him, the more he seems to harbour a sinister secret. It’s starting to look like he’s a criminal, but he might also be a monster . . .With the help of her over-zealous, secretly- crushing BFF Duckie, and with the popular girl bullies nipping at her heels, Sam must go up against a bunch of weird science, and a hellish high school social life, before she has a remote chance of a first kiss . . . or of surviving the Halloween dance.
  • Sag and the MacRobot Family

    Russell W Smith Jr

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Jan. 27, 2017)
This comic book tells of the exploits of a small robot dog, Sag, living with a family of robots at some future time when rockets are common transportation. Some robot characters are: Sag, whose Dash Hound body sags in the middle. Wag, the other dog that has a spring for a tail. Scat, the cat who thought that was its name, Tank, the father who looks like that. Wink, a child whose electronic eyes flicker, and Sank, another child who tried to swim. The story involves a series of escapades as Sag and Wag experience them. The illustrations are self explanatory, and the text is excellent as a bed time read-to-me selection. In addition it is valuable throughout the learning to read years as a vocabulary builder. It is excellent for children of all ages who love imaginary adventure stories with characters they are able to identify with, plots that are interesting and humorous, and settings that are unreal yet familiar. If this includes everyone it’s intentional. The mother or father reading to the child should not be bored, and the child should be filled with curiosity and questions. To this end we have combined a simple picture story with a written version that uses adult vocabulary. In the read-to-me stage the need to explain word meaning, when asked, increases the interplay, and bond, between parent and child. This interplay will continue as the child begins to read alone and needs help in meaning and pronunciation. In pre-teen and above it’s just a funny comic book.
