The story is set in a dystopian future earth which has undergone cataclysmic changes following something like ‘a huge mountain, all ablaze, was flung into the sea’. The 'mountain' is identified in the story as the return of asteroid TC4. This science-fiction short story is accessible and exciting, ideal for a teenage or younger reader.
