    Robert Brown

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, March 19, 2014)
In this sequel to The Wrath of Fate, the Airship Ophelia lists, burnt and broken, in a tropical sea. Her crew has been scattered across the face of a ruined world, or lost in time, and now it is my job to pick up the pieces. What’s to become of my wife and children, whom I left in the aerial city of Isla Aether? This was one of the last of the free cities, held aloft over a world given back to the beasts. I fear this city will be a target now that the Emperor’s life, and mercy, is at an end. What would become of Kristina if she was taken back to a life of servitude in the walled cities? What would become of the children if they were left wandering alone in wastelands filled with nomadic tribes and prehistoric predators? What is to become of young Lilith Tess, who jumped ship in the 1930’s only to be lost in time? I saw her again, here at the end of days, and she was a queen. What journey did she take that led her to this fate? And perhaps least important of all, what is to become of me and the last of our crew? I stand here on the deck of this ship that has held me through all my misguided attempts to make the world a better place. This ship, and her captain and crew, are beaten. Do I have the strength to pull everything together again? Do I still have the strength to get this ship flying? What other choice do I have?

  • The Pied Piper of Hamelin: a child's story Illustrated

    Robert Browning, Hope Dunlap

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Oct. 30, 2015)
The Pied Piper of Hamelin is the subject of a legend from the town of Hamelin, Lower Saxony, Germany, in the Middle Ages. The earliest references describe a piper, dressed in multicolored clothing, who was a rat-catcher hired by the town to lure rats away with his magic pipe. But then the citizens refuse to pay for this service, and he retaliates by using his instrument's magic power on their children, leading them away like he did with the rats. This version of the tale is beautifully illustrated by Hope Dunlap.

    Robert Brown

Paperback (Forgotten Books, April 30, 2017)
Excerpt from Researches Into the Origin of the Primitive Constellations of the Greeks, Phoenicians and Babylonians, Vol. 1In a work like the present, addressed to general readers, it is quite unnecessary to use diacritical marks; nor. As a general principle, is anything gained by writing 6, s and 5 for Hz, ts and 311. The Heb. Qoph-sound is better rendered by q than by k.The conclusions at which I have arrived represent the results of a study extending over many years. And my special thanks are due to Prof. Sayce and to Mr. T. G. Pinches for much assistance most freely given; whilst, at the same time, I am alone responsible for the statements, theories, and arguments of the' work.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
