Tapestries is a concept album/book told in story and song. It's about a poor minstrel in 16th century France that falls in love with a nobleman's daughter. It chronicles his adventures in trying to impress the young lady. We follow him as he travels to the city of the King, where he hopes to be the King's minstrel and we share in his triumphs and tragedies. Most of all, Tapestries is a love story for all ages. Here's how the story starts out.. . Once, not so very long ago, in the kingdom of angels, in the village of Hollinswood...there lived a young lad. A minstrel by trade. A happy fellow, he spent most of his time singing and playing for the entertainment of the villagers. Now this minstrel, though extremely poor, was very, very happy. For he had many good friends in the village. And almost every day they would gather round and he would sing and play and they would dance and laugh and often, they would even sing along with the minstrel, for it was always a happy occasion. Now of all the songs the minstrel sang, he loved to sing for the children the most. For it was their laughing faces that made him so happy. And as they gathered round, he would sing... A sing-along CD is also available that complements this book allowing all of the songs and narration to be heard. Tapestries is also available in audio-book and e-book formats.
