  • Memories of Mother Goose

    R.F. Gilmor

    language (, March 28, 2016)
There are hundreds of little rhymes and verses under the pen name of Mother Goose. Reciting them was a sign of passage from the nursery to childhood play. The author has collected some of her favorites with the fantastic illustrations from Arthur Rackham, a well known and respected and influential artist, back in the day! Somehow the pictures can become stronger memories than the entire rhyme. I hope you enjoy the author's selection from her childhood.
