  • The Growing Seed

    Morgan R. Chambers

Paperback (Chainbreaking Publications, LLC, Aug. 15, 2009)
The Growing Seed is unique because of its candid and transparent contents. The memoir is composed of Morgan's un-edited diary entries that were later narrated. This was artfully created in order to reveal the metamorphosis that took place in her life once she accepted Jesus Christ. She began writing at the age of 12, wrote the book by 20, and published it by 21. Morgan managed to keep every note and journal written through the years. She later found that her journals vividly depicted the highs and lows of a young woman choosing to follow the straight and narrow path in today's society, even though it was very unpopular. The purpose of the book is to expose the benefits and wholeness that result from a relationship with God. It is different because it is the true account of her hopelessness morphed into victory. The memoir ends with her last entry before college, and leaves the reader waiting for a host of new experiences. (The Growing Seed: Volume II) The Growing Seed serves as an example and testimony for young women around the world. Morgan chose to publish her most private thoughts (through her own diary) in order to help other women find THEIR purpose. How? By allowing them to see her own purpose unfold with each turn of a page. The Growing Seed will debunk the premarital sex myth ( every one is doing it), help young women find their voice, push them to fearlessly pursue their goals, passions, and most of all PURPOSE! • Popular Rhymes of Scotland

    Robert Chambers

Paperback (Forgotten Books, June 4, 2015)
Excerpt from Popular Rhymes of ScotlandThe purpose of this work is to supply a presumed desideratum in popular antiquities. The various collections of Percy, Evans, Scott, and others, have now probably given to the world nearly all that is worth preserving of the songs and ballads of our island; and this section of British traditionary poetry has been received amongst the cultivated intellects of the country with a degree of favour which could not have been dreamed of in the days of Milton and Dryden. Careless unaffected graces, simple pathos and humour, the total absence of all those marks of the chisel of the literary workman, and of all those strainings after effect which mar the merits of so much elegant literature, have secured for these wildings of the national intellect an affectionate admiration and regard, of which many modem writers of native and acquired skill might well be envious.About the PublisherForgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
