Down in a pool where it's deep and cool,In a battered old oil drum,With rusty holes for its windows and doors,Lives a funny little crab who is counting his claws...So begins the misadventures of Obi D Krab, a simple, timeless fable with an ancient message for a modern audience, both young and old. A straightfoward hunt for breakfast is interrupted by the distraction of something shiny, which leads via curiosity to greed, and a fruitless pursuit of ever bigger, shinier things! The poem is illustrated in full colour throughout over ten double page spreads.
