  • Light of the Trigardian Amulet: Abby and Andrew's Tale

    S.P. Jackson

Paperback (CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform, Aug. 1, 2013)
Siblings Andrew and Abby have been living with their aunt Olivia near Hargart's Swamp ever since their parents died in a car accident. Legendary around the small town, Hargart's Swamp is the place where no one ever goes, not since eleven-year old LeAnn Griffin was found there with a mysterious large claw mark on the side of her leg. One day, Abby, Andrew, and their friend Chex find themselves at the dark dank swamp when Chex's dog Pepper chases a rabbit through the woods. They soon realize they should have heeded the warnings to stay away. Greeted by a creature unlike anything they've ever seen, the kids just know they're going to end up like LeAnn and the others-until a strange looking child appears and the evil creature disappears. Their new friend Calix explains that the first creature they encountered is Lavesque, the guardian of the underwater entrance to the mysterious and magical word of Levlor. As if that wasn't enough, Calix tells Andrew and Abby that their parents are alive, and were taken to Levlor because their mother was attacked by Lavesque and was in need of healing. In Levlor, their mother, Lyla, has been made a princess, while their father, Lester, has been turned into an evil creature much like Lavesque. Calix offers to take the two kids to Levlor to see their parents. It promises to be a dangerous journey-a thrilling adventure-and the only way that Andrew and Abby will ever see their parents again.

  • THE DIARY OF KING JAMES - A Kid From Akron To NBA Superstar

    Phil Jackson

    eBook
A great kids novel which takes you through King James's Diary. Read along LBJ's day to day journey. Preview: Truth is that since my mom and I (my mom name's Gloria) move a lot, I skip a lot of classes, and I go to different schools each year so she thought it was a good idea for me to practice my writing and express my ideas, feelings, and all that stuff in this journal. . Luckily, I have a great memory and sometimes adults like mom, Ms. Reaves, and Uncle Terry are surprised about it. They say it's a good thing, and I think that too because it makes it easier for me when I move to a new place. Why? Because I can quickly remember the names of the other boys and girls in every new school and I can listen to teachers and almost immediately remember what they are saying without having to raise my hand and ask questions. This helps me stay in the back and be bothered by anyone.
