My purpose for writing this book is to share my father’s legacy with my children, my grandchildren, my relatives, and future generations of the Danel Family.All of my life I felt my father was a very remarkable man. During his lifetime he had to overcome many obstacles. I hope when you read this account of My Father’s Path, you will agree that Morris E. Danel truly was a remarkable man. Most of what you will learn about Morris E. Danel is based on factual events that occurred in his lifetime. I also found the internet to be an amazing source of information for my research. I was able to trace my father’s path back to June 30th, 1896 when he was born in the little town of Bouin, France. Then forward to 1912, when he and his family boarded the passenger ship La Touraine to come to America, and then on to his later years in his life. Dad was the head of his family at the young age of sixteen in 1912.
