This is the story of two little boys, Pabi and Beega, who live on the island of St. Croix. Their mother fed them their meals on a table outside on the deck so she didn't have to sweep up all the crumbs that they dropped while eating. Often, when the boys did not like their food, they would throw some of it under the deck. To their surprise, the food would disappear!
