Books with author Pamela Walker

Out of Pamela Walker's rich ten-year experience of teaching, acting, directing plays, and working with children, she has written a book whose practical, down-to-earth usefulness is matched only by the charm and liveliness of its presentation. The author shows how, in seven interesting sessions, any group of pre-high school children can develop the art of creative self-expression. The book in addition includes basic information on how to produce and cast a children's play. There are three full-length original scripts written by the author, which are delightful for reading aloud, or easy to put on for any group which has "mastered" the seven steps. The plays are "Rumpelstiltskin," "Land of Jesters," and the first and only stage adaptation of Jules Verne's "Around the World in Eighty Days," written especially for this book.
