    P. J. Denton, Julia Denos

    Paperback (Aladdin, May 6, 2008)
Emily is hosting a pony-themed sleepover this time around and the best part is that a real live pony will be there! Ms. Sullivan is bringing over her pony, Ladybug, so the girls can learn to ride and take care of her. Em is excited since she LOVES horses and knows a lot about them from all of the horse books she has read. But her friends don't seem to be taking things seriously and Em is getting a bit bossy about their preparations for the party. When the pony finally arrives it turns out Em has the most trouble riding her - which isn't fair because she has all the experience! In the end she learns that practice makes perfect. Join the Sleepover Squad on another sweet and oh-so-girly adventure.

Jo is so excited! Her parents have agreed to let her host the Sleepover Squad to celebrate her win in the spelling bee! Jo loves to be organized, so she's busy making plenty of lists -- like what kind of food she'll serve her friends and what games they'll play. She's even picked a special theme! But when the Squad starts acting strangely, Jo gets worried. It seems like her friends are keeping secrets from her. Jo tries not to let their behavior hurt her feelings -- after all, it's probably nothing. But she can't help but wonder: What if the girls don't want to come to her sleepover anymore? Or worse, what if they don't want to be friends with her at all?
