The character in this humorous book will take young readers through a journey of many attempts to turn a frown upside down. As you follow along, it will appear to be virtually impossible to find a way to resolve the problem of getting rid of this frown. Although many different approaches were used to help turn that frown upside, the character realizes at the end that it was a fun-filled adventure that finally resulted in a great big smile. That's right, the frown was turned upside down. The character wants to know if readers are willing to do it all over again. So, the challenge presents itself when the character utters these familiar words - Ready, Set, Go! The author demonstrates how difficult it can be to overcome an emotion. In this story, the character exhibits the feeling of sadness which reveals itself in the form of a frown. The determination of this little character shows young readers that by having a persistant attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to turn that frown upside down, it was well worth the effort in the end.The very simple, yet humorous illustrations allow readers to experience the journey of turning a frown upside down with the character of this book. This book will brighten the darkest of days when shared with someone who is in need of a smile to return to their own face.
