  • Cuddles Kisses Who?: Will Cuddles Kiss You?

    Neil Nelson

    (Authorhouse, March 3, 2020)
Cuddles Kisses Who? Is a loving tribute to my mother, Lola Jean Nelson. She was a writer, singer, independent person, a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and aunt. If you were to ask her, though, her greatest gift was her faith. Mom had faith in me when a playful, loving pug named Cuddles came into my life at a time that wasn't so happy. She always said I should write down some of my pets' antics and let others enjoy them as much as I do. Cuddles always has to give everyone she meets a big wet puppy kiss and mom would screech out nooooo Cuddles, much to everyone's amusement! Towards the end of 2014 mom became sick and even though she put on a brave face and fought a hard fight, we knew it wasn't good. I called her one day and told her how I finally took her advice and wrote down a few little stories about Cuddles silly antics after our walk and of course she wanted to hear them. After I finished and she was laughing and I knew smiling, something I hadn't heard from her for a while, she made me promise to try and publish Cuddles' stories. Thank you mom for always having faith in me and giving me faith in Cuddles' puppy kisses! Included in the front of the book is a poem by my mother, Smile Today!
