There was great joy in the home of Dad Rocky the Rabbit and Mom Rei. Today, their only kitten first opened his eyes and began to purr. “Dad, come here. Chai already opened his eyes,” called Mom Rei. “Can he see us now? Did he smile at you?” asked Dad Rocky with excitement in his voice. “Yes, he can see us now. No, he has not smiled yet, maybe because he is hungry. Oh look, he has your eyes darling,” teased Mom Rei. “Hi there. How are you? You had a very long nap. Your Mom and I missed you. Feed the little one sweetie,” said Dad RockyThe couple was waiting for kittens for a very long time. They were blessed to have one, and when he arrived, they named him ‘Chai’ meaning ‘alive’ in Hebrew.
