  • The Great Tractor Day

    Mick Thompson

Hardcover (Mickego Art, Aug. 8, 2018)
This book was inspired by my grandson, Leo. Leo lives about an hour from here in Ferndale, Michigan. I live in the country and have a few acres of grass to mow that requires a large mower. Hence the lawn tractor or green tractor as Leo calls it. His first ride lead to another and another. Consequently each time Leo comes here the first thing he asks is, can he ride on the green tractor, "Of course." You're getting the picture by now that it was only natural to write a story about Leo's love of tractors and here it is, The Great Tractor Day, written and illustrated by me, Mick Thompson. Enjoy! This is the third book I have published and illustrated. The first children's book titled "Zooomun Noomun" was published in 2013. The second, a children's book, written by my wife Betty Thompson and illustrated by me, titled "The Wish Sisters" was published in 2017. All of our books can be purchased on a Amazon.com. Thank you!
