The Federalist Papers are a series of 85 articles advocating the ratification of the United States Constitution. Seventy-seven of the essays were published serially in The Independent Journal and The New York Packet between October 1787 and August 1788. A compilation of these and eight others, called The Federalist, was published in 1788 by J. and A. McLean. The Federalist Papers serve as a primary source for interpretation of the Constitution, as they outline the philosophy and motivation of the proposed system of government. The authors of the Federalist Papers wanted to both influence the vote in favor of ratification and shape future interpretations of the Constitution. According to historian Richard B. Morris, they are an "incomparable exposition of the Constitution, a classic in political science unsurpassed in both breadth and depth by the product of any later American writer."

    A. Publius

eBook (The Business Center, April 12, 2018)
Are you concerned about the direction American government is heading? If so, you absolutely must read KILLING DEMOCRACY. If you like the current leadership of the nation circa 2018, this book will challenge your view.KILLING DEMOCRACY is a chilling, behind-the-scenes look that describes a modern Machiavellian method for demolishing American democracy. That’s right, if you wanted to take apart democracy and replace it with something else, how would you do it? It’s all in this book. It’s not about how democracy dies. It’s about how it is killed. KILLING DEMOCRACY lays out how an unscrupulous autocrat can gain popular support with the help of wealthy and connected power players. “The Bigliest Takeover of Government Like You Wouldn’t Believe” gives you the only clue you need about who is responsible for this attack on our democracy. What the book describes would have been fiction five years ago. Today, much of it is fact. The book weaves its way back and forth between fiction and fact to show how close they are becoming. Inside its covers, you’ll learn how a no-holds-barred campaign allows “The Leader” to get a grip on the institutions of government and use them against itself. Through that process, democracy is eroded and replaced with evil varieties of government including: autocracy, kakistocracy, kleptocracy, mendocracy, and plutocracy. All those are explained. How they are now encroaching on the freedoms of Americans is spelled out. The picture is not pretty. This book will be loved and shared by independent voters, progressives, and true conservatives. Trolls of the right will attempt to disparage it. Every reader is encouraged to judge for him/herself the merits of the book. Read it today and then watch the news tonight. Listen for words like “movement,” “ideology,” “surrogate,” “loyalty,” and “fake news.” You’ll hear and see the unbelievable elements of the book come to life. It’s disturbing.
