What does preserve differ from jam in?These two names often perceive as the synonyms meaning one and too a dish. Actually, preserve and jam — two essentially different delicacies which differ not only in a cooking method, but also structure.The main difference of preserve from jam – berries or fruits in preserve don't crush, they keep the form.
