Boris, Norris, Morris, and Doris are called the Know-Nothings because they don't know much. They do know where to go if they want french fries--to France, of course, but how do they get them by lunch? Spirn's wacky story, humorously captured in Alley's playful full-color illustrations, proves that there's no problem good friends can't solve together.

A short story for kids (ages 4-7). It tells about Jane's pet, a fat cat which is likely as big as baby pig and likes all kinds of food. She wanted to join it to pet show but because of being too big or fat, it cannot move itself when she is trying it to take it with her. She becomes sad that she cannot bring her cat and may not be able to win in the show. At last, her dad called four men to carry and transfer it to the car. Then, her father drives them to pet show. When they arrived, they see lots of different cats. There are small kittens and other big cats but her fat cat won a prize as the biggest cat in pet show. Jane was very happy when going back home.
