  • A Much Younger Man

    Mia Fox

eBook (Evatopia Press, April 2, 2017)
We met when Cole tackled the thief who stole my purse. It was raining. I was cold and hurt. Cole rested a hand on my forearm to reassure me. His touch was warm, his voice soft and confident. Neither of us could look away from one another. And then he smiled. For the first time since my cheating ex left me with a mountain of debt, I felt alive and beautiful again. Cole’s muscular thighs and ripped abs are the source of endless fantasies, but he’s also a gentleman who sheltered me from harm. Not to mention, the thrill of being noticed by a much younger man. Later that night, I wrote a blog post about my forbidden fantasy. It went viral instantly. Now my boss at the online site where I freelance wants me to see Cole again and to post about the taboo romance that’s captured the attention of thousands of people online. We’re both consenting adults. Should it matter that Cole’s half my age? Or that I’m doing this to help pay my bills? Is being with Cole wrong or…oh-so-right?

  • Weird Lil Prayers

    Mic Fox

Paperback (Independently published, Nov. 1, 2018)
Every night, when we say our bedtime prayers, it's easy to remember our friends, family, and the people we see everyday. But what if we started including the people we don't know– the people we may pass by and never get to speak to– the people we may not understand– the people who live their lives everyday, just as we do?In these trying times, when there are so many words wasted on our unwillingness to understand each other, it seems like a few words (and some corresponding pictures) may do just enough to bring the conversation back to the common ground that we all stand on.Weird Lil Prayers is a side step for Mic Fox– author of irreverent children's titles, Chicken's Made of Chicken and Don't Get Too High (said the Bird to the Fly). Though the rhyming and cheeky undertones remain, he choses to address his issues with a certain brand of hypocritical Christianity head on. While being a nice introduction to diversity and understanding for kids, Fox also makes a point of extending a hand to an older reader– maybe someone who in their older age has forgotten that Jesus didn't subscribe to judgmental and convenient behavior. This book asks readers to seek practices and teachers that bring goodness and understanding to the world rather than fear and politics. Weird Lil Prayers belongs on the shelves of every little open minded kiddo and in the stocking of every grandparent that you haven't talked to since the last election.
